Description
This Biblical Interpretation Training Manual is designed to give the student successful Biblical Interpretation methodologies. This course is also designed to help the student develop skills in understanding and applying scripture to their personal lives. It serves as the foundation for further training and development. It will be assumed that some of the students are preparing for ministry opportunities in which biblical interpretation will play a significant role. It will also be assumed that some students will seek to use this course to assist them in the presentation of teaching or speaking assignments in the church or in a general setting.
The course is non-denominational in doctrine, taught in a classroom environment using small group instruction with practical application, followed by hands-on, performance oriented training. Instructors will assess the students’ interpretation shills and evaluate their ability to apply lessons learned to effectively lead their fellow students in
interpretation exercises. DTI provides an opportunity for education, to learn practical biblical interpretation skills, and to gain experience in training others in the process.
